The MTA would like to draw your attention to a couple things happening in the near future.  First, is a rally that the New Bedford Educators are having at New Bedford City Hall on January 17th .  You may have received correspondence from Paul Toner on this, but it's important to take a moment to emphasize how serious things are down there and how much they need your support.  Please try to show up if you can and encourage fellow members to do the same.  If you can’t make it on the 17th, consider sending letters/emails/blog posts of support.  Some links are pasted below. Here is a link to a statement released by the leadership of the MTA.
